Terms and general conditions of therapeutic services

Last updated: 3 May 2026

The purpose of these terms is to make our collaboration comfortable and safe. They are the set of rules I work by, so that you know what to expect.

General information

  1. I am a psychotherapist and facilitator licensed by the Polish Society for Process Psychology, working under ongoing supervision and in accordance with the Society’s Code of Ethics.
  2. I offer individual, relational (for couples, friends, parents, and children), family, and group sessions. I also lead workshops and group sessions for individuals and organizations.
  3. The duration and cost of sessions are listed on this website.

Purpose and nature of the collaboration

  1. I work using the Process-Oriented Psychology (process work) method. Its goal is to increase the client’s awareness of what is happening in their life and to support them in independently coping with difficulties. In each case, you decide what changes you are willing to make in your life.
  2. The therapeutic work involves exploring signals from the body, emotions, relationships, dreams, and other manifestations of the psychological process, which can provide insights into the direction of your individual process.
  3. The goal of therapy is to support you in understanding your difficulties and finding appropriate solutions on your own.
  4. Our collaboration is based on dialogue, confidentiality, and respect for autonomy. It is a voluntary process and requires the commitment of both parties.
  5. If, at any stage of our collaboration, you have questions about how we work, please let me know. We will discuss and clarify all issues so that our collaboration can proceed safely for you.
  6. All sessions are strictly confidential. Information shared during a session is not disclosed to third parties, except as required by applicable law. Information from sessions may be discussed during supervision, always in a way that prevents the client from being identified.

Booking a session

  1. You can book an appointment through the Twój Psycholog or Znany Lekarz websites by selecting the type of session and a date and time that are convenient for you.
  2. You can also book a session by calling the phone number listed on this page. You will receive confirmation of a session booked this way via text message to the phone number you provided.
  3. Regardless of how you schedule your appointment, the session is reserved only after payment has been made.
  4. You can pay using the online payment options offered by Twój Psycholog and Znany Lekarz, as well as via Blik.
  5. Failure to pay for the session by the deadline specified during booking will result in its cancellation.
  6. If you do not receive a booking confirmation, it means the session was not booked.

Canceling and rescheduling sessions, punctuality

  1. You may cancel a booked and paid session free of charge up to 48 hours before it begins.
  2. If you cancel later than that or fail to show up for the session, you will be charged the full fee for that session.
  3. In exceptional cases, such as illness, you may reschedule a booked session once. Please contact me so I can offer you an alternative time.
  4. If you do not show up within 15 minutes of the session’s start time without notifying me, I will consider the session a no-show in accordance with the cancellation policy described above (points 1 and 2).
  5. If I need to cancel a session, I will notify you and suggest the earliest possible date that is convenient for you.
  6. Please arrive on time for your session. If you are late, the duration of our meeting will not be extended.

Other rules regarding our collaboration

  1. For organizational matters, such as scheduling or rescheduling an appointment, please contact me via text message at the number provided on the website.
  2. It’s best to discuss any therapeutic issues during the session.
  3. You may end our collaboration at any time. However, I encourage you to discuss the termination during a session so that we can ensure a safe conclusion to the process.

Therapy sessions with minors

  1. Therapy with minors is possible only with the consent of their parents or legal guardians.
  2. For minors over the age of 16, their own consent to participate in therapy is also required.
  3. If a minor undergoing therapy is being raised by one parent or guardian, and the other parent or guardian holds full parental rights, the parent or guardian with primary custody is required to inform the other parent or guardian about the initiation of therapy and to allow them to contact the therapist.
  4. The parent or guardian agrees to respect the minor participant’s right to keep information regarding the course of the sessions private and to allow the minor the freedom to decide for themselves whether and what information they wish to share.
  5. If necessary, I meet with parents and guardians for consultations scheduled on an individual basis. The purpose of these meetings is to jointly discuss our understanding of the reported difficulties, observed changes in functioning, and any issues of concern to the parents or guardians. I am not obligated to keep information about the therapy participant, obtained from parents or guardians, confidential from the participant if I determine that disclosing such information may enhance the effectiveness of therapy.
  6. The parent or guardian agrees to consult with appropriate specialists (e.g. a psychiatrist) together with the minor therapy participant if I indicate such a need. If such consultations took place before the start of therapy, the parents or guardians consent to my consulting with the physician by phone to exchange information regarding symptoms and to jointly explore the most effective forms of treatment.
  7. If a parent or guardian decides to withdraw from therapy, regardless of the reason, they agree to inform the therapist of this decision and to allow the minor participant to attend one final session. The therapeutic process is highly emotionally engaging and should not be terminated without the opportunity to bring it to a proper conclusion.
