Sebastian Piechocki, psychotherapist from Szczecin, following the TAO

Psychotherapist in Szczecin

I am a graduate of the University of Szczecin, a psychotherapist, and a facilitator. I am licensed by the Polish Society for Process Psychology to provide individual and group psychotherapy. I work under ongoing supervision and in accordance with the society’s code of ethics. I am continually developing personally and professionally at the Process Psychology Study (Warsaw), the Process Work Institute (Portland, USA), and by learning directly from Polish and international teachers. Since 2025, I have been a member of the board of the Polish Society for Process Psychology. I work in Szczecin and online.

My work is grounded in Process Psychology (Process Work), which stems from the psychology of Carl Gustav Jung and also draws on the Taoist approach of following the natural order of things rather than working against it. That is why, during a session, it is I who follow your process, and I do not bring ready-made patterns or solutions that would not be right for you. You decide where you are heading and when the time for change is right. I am first and foremost a facilitator (from the Latin facile, meaning “easy”), that is, someone whose role is to facilitate. I also use the Nonviolent Communication approach, which supports the development of open, mutually respectful communication.

Like many people, I have experienced difficult situations, abuse, and exclusion in my life. I have often seen myself as an outsider. In my search for a deeper understanding of myself, I discovered process psychology. Through my own personal development work, life experiences, and psychotherapy training, I have reached a place where I can support others as they navigate change and consciously shape their lives.

Privately, I am a dreamer who longs to live in a world where a broad perspective on matters is more important than the convictions of those who know better what is good and what is bad. In a world where differences and diversity are valued, where there is room for all experiences, and where people are not divided into “better” and “worse”, “normal” and “abnormal”. In my daily life, I strive to go with the flow, learning at the same time to accept what comes my way and to help create what I want to happen, seeking a balance between the two.
